This looks like it may be the solution I'm looking for its called the "Dj Tech Mixerone 2 Ch Midi Mixer & Usb Hub & High Quality Fader". You see I love the RMX but the crossfader just isn't up to par with what I'm looking for. I think this might remedy it. Do you guys think it would be possible to use the RMX and have this thing set to the side just for scratching with? Here is a link

Nope.
He can use that and either a Dual Deck MIDI controller like a DMC2 or dac2/3 or he can use any number of MIDI enabled CDJ on the market.
All he would need for a sound card would be any 4.1 soundcard.
