Tópico: Bheringer UCA202: Sound Quality Issues.

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Good afternoon.

After trying multiple different fixes I was wondering if anyone has had any sound quality issues using these cards?

My current setup is 2 UCA202 cards, one for each deck. Half way through gigs currently I have noticed that the card used to patch through the red deck's output will have quality issues. From research the best way to describe this would be to say that it develops a "chopper" sound effect over the top of the output.

Bheringer have a solution and have released an updated driver accordingly however, Windows 7 (32-bit) doesn't recognise the device as a Sound Card but, rather, as a Universal Serial Bus Controller. As the OS doesn't see it as a sound card there is no way to route the sound from VDJ to the card.

Does anyone have any similar experiences with these devices/ similar output problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am currently having to use 1 card + on board sound to get the job done.

You would be better using a high quality 4 out (2 stereo) card designed for DJ use such as Numark DJIO, Native Instruments Audio 2 DJ, etc.

Behringer UCA202 is a cheap card and is best suited for home use only.

While I appreciate the advice I am a full time University student who DJ's to support my family. A new, upgraded card would be ideal but hey, we don't live in an ideal world.

In 6.0.2 there is no issue with my cards what so ever however, in every current release since there has been this issue that is only effected by the red deck regardless of which physical card I am using. I think I'll just create a support ticket.
