This is a shot in the dark since my copy of virtual dj came free with hercules mixer so i dont have a code to be a full member here but i am out of ideas now.

I have read through all the posts and all of the set guides i can find and still i am at a loss and cannot get it running properly.

I have windows vista home premium 64bit built in soundcard and a hercules mixer for the second soundcard.
I can get the mixer working with virtual dj ok just not the headphones in order to preview the next track.

My pc connects to the amp via the line out and the mixer connects to the pc via usb and the headphones plug into the front of the mixer.
However no matter how i try to set up the program i cannot get my headphones to work to preview the next track does anyone have an idea what could be wrong or post their setup config to virtual dj if it is the same as my own.

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

I know this might sound really patronising but have you checked the headphone volume on the RMX? Other than that i dunno really. I'll have a gander at mine when i get in to see if i can spot any probs!
 
Alternatively try using the headphone input on the top of yr RMX to check it's not just the front input?
