OK, here is the deal. I have been using my system for 2 years with a Numark DMC2. all my music has been played and analyzed many times over. Now I purchased an NS7. When I launch VDJ and try to play a song it loads real slow as if it were re-analyzing. Now, if I play a song a second time within the same night it loads normal. After I shut down and start the next day all the songs load slow again. It's as if the computer is loosing all it's data when I shut down. If I go back to my DMC2 everything is fine. Anyone got any ideas?

two quick suggestions
1. ensure you have installed both the latest ns7 drivers from Numark and also Itch.
2. the specs on the gig rig, list it so we can tell you if a upgrade is needed for the Ns7. This device is a resource hog hence you need to have a nippy machine.
