hey,
i've been djing for about 6 months now and lovin it. but im getting sick of having to deal with burning cds and i also have too many to deal with. so i want to move into djing with the laptop, but im not really in the know with all the specifications. if someone could recomend a good software that doesnt need the best laptop and of course isnt goin to pull my pants down opver the price, would be much appreciated!!

There's plenty of info on here. Search the forums look for threads that will help. Then only person who can make the decision abot which laptop, controller/mixer/soundcard and software to use is you.
Obviously you're here on the Virtual DJ forum so you will get a lot recommendations for Virtual DJ (ie beatbreaker1).
There are different versions with different prices. There are different controller/mixer options as well. All of which can be found easily from the menus at the top of the page. It also depends on what style of DJ you are: Wedding, Karaoke, Video, Club, etc...
TBH, people come to these forums and repeatedly ask these questions, so there are plenty of threads on here that will help you. Starting another one is just going to regurgitate a lot of the same info over and over again.
Feel free to start threads on specific topics, but use the forums by searching for the information you need. It's there, you just have to work a little for it ;-)
