Tópico: RMX with djc, is pro required?

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I bought an RMX, and while i was running the pro trial version it ran just fine. I had to get into the configurations and adjust sound inputs/outputs in order to get the RMX sound card to work with my macbook. Now that the trial is over, Im running the standard DJC instead of pro. I can not get any sound coming from my speakers. I searched, and found a solution that worked, but it isnt very good. I went into my sound configurations on OSX and ran the sound output as "internal speakers" instead of "hercules RMX". I get sound this way, but it sounds like absolute garbage when i turn the gains up. I'm sort of at a loss, can anyone help me?

thanks,

Im running a brand new macbook pro

Contrary to the Pro version, the DJC version will only work with the Rmx soundcard, so speakers need to be connected to the Outputs of the Rmx.

If you absolutely have to use the computer integrated speakers, try this:

- Configure VDJ with the XXX as the soundcard

- Connect a cable from Output 1/2 of the console to the LINE input of the computer

- Download LineIn from this page:

http://www.rogueamoeba.com/freebies/

- Run LineIn, leaving everything as default, and click Pass thru

You should now get the main output mix from the Rmx in your speakers.

I am not trying to run my computer speakers, I have two monitors running as outputs from the RMX which I am trying to use as speakers.

I would recommend uninstalling VDJ as there may be confusion between files from the 2 versions you installed.

- Delete all Virtual DJ programs in Applications

- Delete the Virtual DJ folder in Documents

- Delete all com.Atomixproducts.xxx.plist in User> Library> Preferences

Empty the recycling bin.

Then reinstall only the DJC version, preferably the latest one (v5.2.2) available in the Download section (your serial number will be required)
