Tópico: Waveform loading problem

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Is anyone else getting this problem, where after a couple of hours gigging you cannot get any track over 5 minutes in length to fully load in the waveform, the only way round it is to shut down VDJ and restart.
Most of my gigging is done as a Video DJ.

Using a ASUS G70S running VISTA 32BIT
Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 - 2.5 GHz
RAM - 4 GB
Hard Drive - 640 GB
Operating System - Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium
Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT

Thanks for any help.

You're not the only one. There's a few open threads on this issue. If you're using the latest version (6.1.2) your best bet is to revert back to an older version until the team can come up with a solution.

This is because you have loaded a track that exceeds the available amount of contiguous memory necessary to the load the track. This issue can be caused by several different factors, however the most common is loading a very long track that ties up the majority of your available memory space.

We have addressed the problem in the next version.

Yes I am using the latest version (6.1.2), when will the next version be released or how do I find the a older stable version?

How do i downgrade to a older version as this version has started to Skip and Stutter while playing tracks as well as the waveform loading problem!
NOT GOOD!!

I am experiencing this problem after upgrading to vdj7. I skipped an upgrade or two in between. I wish I knew what version I was previously running. Where are the links to DL previous versions?

Download the registry tool in the downloads, adjust the vidmemmaxuse section until it works right. I've also found that you can work for a while longer without the problem, if you go to config (video tab) then click and unclick the keep ratio box. It frees the the mem. On my rain computer I could watch the mem fill up till about 5 gigs at the point my vids would freeze, and I would have issues with songs not loading all the way. I could click and unclick the keep ratio box, and the mem would free. I fixed the problem by putting a value of 1 in the vidmemmaxuse section of the reg tool. On my other computer, the mem never filled up, but when the songs would start to load partially all I had to do was click and unclick the box.
