Hello yall, I am trying Virtual DJ and liking it so far. I have a question tho. I am plannin on getting one mixer that has the basic functions on this program, basically to make some mixes, no need for scratching. So, does every mixer have the option for headphone where you can preview the song in the headphones before putting it on for the audience. What mixers are compatible for this kind of stuff, not too expensive ones, I am pretty much beginner. If it is something like a controller with small scratch wheels, I guess it's ok, anyways you got the main point, something that I can throw small giggs with and have headphones to preview the song like the DeeZhays do.!

I've had a great start with this. Its simple enough to allow you to master the fundamentals of mixing. This is really simple, yet sounds what your looking for unless you want wheels. . .

What about Numark Stealth or Numark DMC2. I see they got more options and not that pricey, also on DMC2 where is the fader that fades from left to right? Hmmm

The DMC2 does not have a mixer or sound card onboard - it's just a controller for two players/decks.
If you chose that, you'd also need either a USB mixer or a USB sound card + standard mixer.
