Haven't had much luck with the Hybrid midi but can report that the regular midi mode is working as expected in VirtualDJ with the new device.xml
 
how do you add the new device S3700v7.xml

After I updated the firmware in my 1200s to 3000, VDJ will not identify my 1200s in midi mode. What am I doing wrong?
 
 
@Denon DJ, can you give me a list of your cdj's with a Spinning Platter?

whats the midi settings? my 2 player work on unit set 1 befor i use to set left deck on 1 and right deck on 2 dose not work like dat any more 2 player has to be on 1

Set both decks to MIDI CH 1
Load the provided and new xml file into the device folder
set players to midi mode
start VDJ 6.12

That it, should work .

 
anyone has the denon mapper for virtual dj drop me a link
 
 
Hi to all :)

I'm testing my 3700s with new hybrid firmware but no have audio device to test it with timecode, so i'm trying in simple midi.

I modified xml definition file because it define 1480 pulse and not 2940 as mentioned....
But Vdj does not work well and i have continues drop-out , but the difference of the platter resolution is evident.

I wonder if this is a limit of Vdj or a limit of MIDI protocol

Its 2960, not 2940
VDJ Team would need to recode and tweak for 2960

Its not a limit of the MIDI protocol, the player provides high resolution MIDI with timestamps.

Today I tested it with my new HP ENVY (i7 720,6gb ram) :

DENON ASIO DRIVER
EXT MIXER
LATENCY 1MS

no problem! very good sound and realist scratch.... Only limit is still platter resolution bacause pitch-banding is not possibile using hand but only with button + - ...
I hope Team surpass this limitation....
Denon dns3700 with high resolution platter is as TECH 1200!!!

hi ihave updated now one player and it could not connect in midi restarting the hole things vdj an 3700 bring no efect player is recocniced as simple midi config xml in plase or not no diffrenz setup is win7ultimate 64 vdj7 one dn-s3700 with new firmware (at the moment)please addvice
