Tópico: internal sound card distortion

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I just purchased A Djio sound card for my vdj setup and when I run the speakers through the djio and my headphones through my internal sound card there is a distortion in the headphones, if I switch the setup around then there is distortion in the speakers, If I don't use the external sound card, then my internal one works just fine.

any ideas whats going on here?

What version do you have?

This happens because the 2 soundcards are not set to the same sample rate (this you can change in Applications > Utilities > Audio/MIDI setup).

However, why aren't you simply using the DJIO as the main soundcard and connect everything to it ?

Because I only have on RCA cable right now, and the Dj IO only has one output! is there another way I cant set it up so that all of the sound is coming out of the soundcard? main output and headphones?

THANK you so much for that answer though! ive been looking all over the web for any help!

Hey so now everything is working cleanly buy my headphones volume is extremely low!

I've tried turning up the Djio to full volume, and have tried messing with it in the audio MIDI setup on my computer and I still can't hear!

thanks for your help once again!

What do you mean only one output ? You have 2 sets of RCA in the back, and the headphone output in the front, which transmit the same signal as Output 2 in the back.

So your configuration in VDJ should be as follow:

- Input : None

- Output(s): Headphone > Master : 1-2 / Headphone 3-4

-Soundcard: 4 Ouput card > DJ IO

As for levels, don't forget the heaphone volume in VDJ.

perfect!!

as for the level issue though I have everything all turned up! Ill see what happens with the new setup for the djio though
