Hey,

I'm using my Numark Mixdeck with VDJ and I have it all configured like every forum posts says it should be, yet when I play it the audio sounds outright horrible. Specifically, it sounds faded, scratchy, and metallic. When I use the Traktor LE software that came with my Mixdeck, there's no issues with audio quality. Has anyone else had this problem and could help me out?

i have the same setting vd7 and mixdeck

try this:

config: input:none output external mixer soundcard: asio the hit the asio config button and put it to 128

then go to performances:

latency 128
scratch quality
master tempo advanced
and remember to kill msn firefox etc. and if you still have issues go to device manager and kill ethernet conections wifi internal soundcard etc. youll be just fine

the problem i have with the mixdeck is that i cannot record a set but its a soundcard issue cuz it says it includes a line in and you can rewire it with vd7 but it says that i dont have enough channels! =(

Actually I just went in and changed it to 1024 samples and it works perfectly. But now my decks are mixed up; deck 1 plays on the virtual deck 2 and deck 2 plays on virtual deck 1, how do I fix THIS issue?
 
Solved: Hit the eject button!
 
Do you have any problems with this setup freezing? I can get about 2-3hrs of good play time and all of a sudden when I use the FX button it will freeze and not respond. But ... I can use the FX button plenty of times at first. And then out of nowhere I use it again and bam!! VDJ not responding! I've been looking for answers but can't get no help!
