I have an idea that I would LOVE to make happen but not sure if it can.

I use the Hercules RMX with two time-coded vinyls. Not that it makes any difference, but I have two Numark TTX's with the Scratch Live time codes.

Here's what I want to do:

I want to load a track on deck 1 and 3 (left and right) and be able to control them with the Hercules RMX.

I want to load a scratch sample on decks 2 and four (left and right) and be able to control them separately.

In theory, this sounds like it should work, but it seems to be buggy. I have to load up all the decks and almost trick the program to do what I want it to do. I can't control the tracks with Hercules until I play the timecodes and stop them. Not very efficient for a gig.

Has anyone tried/done this?

Have you looked at the timecode_active verb to prevent VDJ from attempting to use timecode on those two decks?
 
No, I'm not sure what that is?
 
Hello again. Still haven't found a solution to this. Has anyone done this or know how to do it?

I don't own a RMX but I can control all 4decks using timecodes with 2 turntables. Just map a button with "deck 2 timecode_active". Hit that button everytime you wanna scratch with that deck.
