Hi all. well, i've done it and bought the Pro version at last but when i plugged my RMX into my lappy i couldn't use the effects buttons properly!!! what do i have to do? thanx babes. XXX

I don't own a rmx but reading your post leaves it pretty open.........what do you mean couldn't use the buttons? They didn't work at all or they worked but just not how there supposed to?

Just add a little more info and im sure someone will be able to sort you out. And congrats on going PRO!!

Sorry. They (the effect buttons) worked but not giving me effects. They put in cue points etc but not the beloved Flanger/ Backspin/ Brake etc that were always assigned to these buttons on the Console edition that i'm used to. I couldnt work out how to assign them back to playback effects.
I read that maybe i need the RMX skin to be able to assign them to the RMX's effects buttons to it.

You can change these in the config menu under the mappers tab. Find the Hercules RMX mapper and see what is the actions are for buttons 1 - 6. If you dont like the current mapping you can click on auto-learn and then click on parameter on the skin to reassign it.

If you want effects on these buttons, I would recommend opening the effects tab and searching what effect you want to assign because after you click the auto-learn, it will assign the very next click to the button. Hope that makes sense.
