I tested out my new Radius 1000 on my friends laptop. He has the full version of 7. I wanted to test it out on his before I upgrade from Pro Basic to Pro full. I was under the impression that the audio would back out form VDJ > USB > Analog > Mixer. However, the Radius will control the software but no sound out of the Radius output only output on the laptop. Is there something I am doing wrong? Can my setup even do this? Do we need to download a mapper file if using the latest version 7?

In midi mode the radius is only a controller. The Sound still comes out of your computer soundcard. It's the same with most Midi Controllers unless the manual specifically tell you it's a soundcard as well.

I'm not entirely sure, Check your unit against the American Audio website, for firmware updates.

The lag went away when I started using NI 2 DJ card. Thank you everyone for your help
