Software 3d its an "emulation" and needs more cpu power i guess,
4.1 is suitable for cards with front + rear outs like sblive, while 7.1 for cards with 3 stereo outs like hercules console.
If i'm wrong, someone correct me.
It's been a long time i use only asio and timecode, i even
can't remember these pages...

Thanks for this. So can you select this setup and NOT select software 3d or output 7.1?
