ok guys was doing a gig last night and client required to show slideshow/movie.
thought no problem.movie on usb flashdrive.was formatted as m4v.vdj would not recognise to show as a slideshow.
anything i can do for future clients

I use bmp files for my slide shows your client would have been better off just giving you a photo album file of bmps. If it was a pre made slide show then maybe a vob or mov file would have been better and you could have used clipbank to play it. I'm still kind of new to all of this but that's what I would try.

M4V is a video format and the slideshow plugins only recognise pictures - not movies, so don't bother trying to use it in them.
Movie playback should be done on a deck or in the clipbank - both of which support non-DRM m4v out of the box.

thanks guys,it was pre made movie on a mac.
i normally make a photo album and then add live music in slideshow and works a treat.
