Had a problem during my set last night...every few songs during my set,music would skip when I tried to cue the next song on the opposite deck. When I moved the jog wheel it would cause the song to be interrupted and I noticed that the cue select light would jump to the song currently playing...Is that my Hercules mixer or a computer problem? Hope I explained that right.

your computer must meet certain minimum specs
your computer needs to be optimized for audio or audio / video as the case may be
what is your operating system , how much ram do you have ?
what is your VDJ version ? if possible increase your latency , or set to auto
you may have background processes running that cause these problems
