I'm looking at new PCs for doing video DJing. I'm sure spec wise, this particular PC is more than adequate, but know in the past particular video cards were recommended. I can't find current recommended system specs on the site. Can someone please tell me if this laptop will shine while mixing a video show? Pairing with 2 Denon 3700s which will also be the sound card(s).

The specs look good other then the 64 bit os, 32 would be less likely of problems, then you have the installed bloatware that may also present some issue, but it could be an off the shalf winner..you just need to be remove and tweak ready if need be..
Good Luck,

Can you get a 32 bit OS anymore? What kind of issues might a 64 bit OS present? I'm no stranger to tweaking but...?

Just make sure your controller (if you use one) has 64-bit drivers. VDJ runs fine in a 64-bit OS.
You can always buy a 32-bit OS for about $100.00, if for some reason you decide too.

Mostly video issues, but there are workarounds and tweaks available, the forum threads are full of them, soo you should be OK...

gents , i have been using 64 bit for well over a year on Vista and W7
don't forget with 64 bit you can use powerful systems with lots of ram , 4 gigs and up
if you get W7 , optimizing it is similar to what you would do in XP
