You can set the crossfarder to be any curve you want all with the knobs and switches already on it. I have the NS7FX and don't scratch (yet) and can change to either mode on the fly, for when I get better.
Unltimatley, the main reason somebody would want the NS7 is to scratch like vinyl. That is why they designed it to be real vinyl, for vinyl scratch artists. Which has nothing directly to do with the crossfader.
I bought it for the lay out and to learn scratching eventually. Just make sure you have a fast PC (not budget or old). You NEED a 2.4 ghz or better processor, period. I also rcomend using a desktop or you will be staring at another $2k+ for a new PC.

Does this mean , you can still be a mixer with this Product, or will i have to buy The turntables and mixer, Because mostly thats 2K-3K and very expensive, while this is only 1.7k SO what does it mean the crossfader to curve? I just want to mix ELECTRO HOUSE music like cueing like DJ BL3ND, DJ EPIC TWELVE , and A laptop with 2.4ghz is usually like 599$

How do you like the ns7fx with v-dj? I'm thinking about buying one but I've heard there are some compatibility issues. I have a macbook pro what I want to use it with.

I will recommend the Numark Ns7Fx. The crossfader you can set it to haow ever you want to use it for. The Numark NS7Fx is a very stable pieace of equipment with either Serato Itch Or Virtual Dj. I use it with Virtual Dj and it work perfect.

Does anyone know how to change the internal crossfader slope to say a scratching crossfader? I've been wondering about doing that with my RMX but haven't found anything about it online...
