I recently upgraded to from version 6 to version 7 on my macbook pro. The problem I am having is during broadcast sessions. While broadcasting, VDJ will freeze completely. It will not progress until I go to sound config and click apply to the sound config. Then it resumes. It happens mainly in the latter end of a new track loading but cannot be narrowed down to that. It has also happened without loading a track but is less repeatative. I have several DJ friends whom have expirienced this under different platforms (on PC's) which is why I believe it could be some buffer overflow type of bug.
Please let me know if there is anything that I can do or provide to the tech team to provide more info to this.

Strange, i didn't heard something like that and i'm also broadcast with 7.0.1 (Mac) without problems.
Can you tell me what kind of Macbook, soundcard you are using?
Is your music located on a external harddrive?
Can you please make some screenshots from:
> VDJ Config -> Soundcard
> Broadcast Config

Thanks for the reply. I'm using a macbook pro 4 gigs ram and my music is on an external firewire drive.

OK, your Macbook is a MacbookPRO with ix Processor?
A lot of external harddrives have a power save option on board (firmware)
Means, if you did not use the drive between 5 to 10 minutes, they go into a sleep modus.
If you now, try to load after this time your next track, VDJ can't load the track at once.
VDJ must wait until the drive is back to life ;-)
In the time between the wakeup, the skin freeze.
Test it and load before the drive goes into sleep, the next track and do not wait till the other track ends.
I'm sure you did not get this issue again!
