Tópico: New to Dj'ing & Needs help

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Hi VDJ Community, I'm recently new to Dj'ing, but I know it's something that I want to do for a long time down the road; Music is my biggest passion in life. A little background information about my song choices is majority of electronic/trance/techno (Tiesto is a big inspiration for me). I started purchasing equipment for Dj & so far all i have is Virtual DJ 6 Broadcaster & LE along with an IDJ3 Numark controller/turntable for VDJ, Pioneer, HDJ - 1000 headphones, & Speakers ( I know i have a lot more equipment to get in the future). To be honest I jumped headfirst into this without a sense of what I really wanted to focus on. For the most part I want to learn how to incorporate beat juggling (if possible) With electronic/trance/techno music & to just go out there as a DJ and spread the music. Right now, I'm self teaching myself how to do this with minimal help & was wondering where the best place would be start to learn about Dj'ing and any other related topics such as basic terms, equipment, etc.. I'm clueless about the majority of MIDI/Controllers/Mixers out there. I also have Ableton live intro for composing & hoping to to somehow incorporate that with my mixing. If anyone could help/ give advice that would be much appreciated! Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Take your time, and do a lot of research on equipment. My philosophy is to buy what you want, not what you can afford. This way you don't buy twice, because you will buy what you want later anyway. My main advice is to practice, practice, and then practice some more. You will get a lot of help from this forum.
