I am trying to change the behavior of my PFL buttons. I want them to be able to control decks 3 and 4.
...and would like the FX buttons to be the PFL.(I don't want to use FX)
I have a vci-100 but it shouldn't make a difference since any buttons are assignable right?
How do I start?
Thank you

ok, from the info given, I was able to get deck 1 and 3 to work using the vci-100 original labeled left 'cue' button. and deck 2 and 4 to work using the labeled right 'cue' button. Believe its now mapped under firmware 1.4 (in the controller downloades section) as PFL.
left 'cue' botton...
device_side 'left' ? deck 1 leftdeck ? deck 3 leftdeck : on & deck 1 leftdeck : deck 2 rightdeck ? deck 4 rightdeck : on & deck 2 rightdeck
Right 'cue'
device_side 'left' ? deck 1 leftdeck ? deck 3 leftdeck : on & deck 1 leftdeck : deck 2 rightdeck ? deck 4 rightdeck : on & deck 2 rightdeck
I used the same 'action' for both sides (it seemed to work).....
Now how do I get the pre-listen to work for all 4 decks? I'm using my mouse to click the software's PFL buttons on the screen to be able to achieve this now. I would like to use the original buttons labeled 'effect' (just above) the 'cue' buttons. I believe they are now mapped as FX buttons under the 1.4 firmware mapper.
Therefore prelisten 1 & 2 then when I hit either 'effect' button they prelisten decks 2 and 4 & leds light up. I can't seem to find these examples?
Also, How do I save my custom mapping (for later use)
I can't seem to get past this point...
Thank-you
