Is there anyway to have VDJ play the song when "I" want to push play and hear the song play? It seems no matter what, the program disregards my input and then "decides" if i should have hit play earlier or later and then syncs the track up to the point that VDJ decided when I should have hit play. Hope this makes sense. I've disengaged beat lock and sync. I've been DJing for 12 years and have no problem meat matching. But when i go to drop in a song lots of times VDJ wont play exactly where i want it to play. Instead it seems the software tries to beat match better than i can by ear. Not all of my files are perfectly alligned with VDJ's waveforms vs. Beat markers so maybe thats the issue?
However, i'd prefer to "pretend" my controls are as analogue as possible while using a laptop for connivence. I just want VDJ to respond to my touch rather than what the programmers decided that I "ment to do." I appreciate any input you can give me! Thanks so much.
