Ok guys, been reading the forums left and right and found no solution to my problem.
Just dropped some coin on the baddest computer i could afford, specs are as follows:
HP dv63160us (Laptop)
AMD Phenom II N950 Quad Core Processor
4 Gigs Ram
ATI Mobility Radeon HD5650 video card
Windows 7 64bit
Running Numark Cue 6.12
The trouble im having is when im doin video mixing, the initial song loads and plays just fine. But when i cue up and PFL the second song, the audio is fine, but the video will play for 2 seconds and freeze. I can make it unfreeze my disabling the video and reenabling. Ive done all the updates that i possibly can for the laptop and the video drivers so i dont understand what could be wrong.
Its not my video files or hard drive because i hook up my old laptop, it runs just fine. Pls help cuz i would like to use my new laptop for new years eve!
Thanks in advance!
DJ Mark

****UPDATE*****
Ive been trying furiously to find out what the heck is going on with this new PC.
I ran my resource manager while running Numark Cue and was pretty amazed at what i saw.
As soon as I loaded up a video i noticed my RAM usage went up slightly, which is to be expected. The shocker was when i hit play, my RAM usage climbed up steadily until i had only about 100Megs left. My question is, why would Cue need 4Gigs of RAM to run ONE video??
Any thoughts??

Wanted to update again....
I resolved the issue after a whole LOT of trial and error.
Seemed to be a bad or misinstalled video card driver.
I uninstalled the drivers and downloaded directly from the ATI website and VIOLA! All good!
Now instead of using up every last bit of my available RAM, its runs at about 1.5 to 1.8 Gigs of RAM with both players playing videos.
Thanks anyway, VDJ tech support! ;)
