Just started using a new laptop - HP Pavilion dv6 3050us, Windows 7 Pro 64bit, 4 gig RAM, all files on an external harddrive - I bought the newest version of VDJ and am controlling it with a Denon HC4500. The issue that I'm running into is I get a noticeable delay after about 60 minutes of use, and the longer I run the program the worse the delay is. More specifically the latency is really bad, but also the audio does not match the wave file moving on the top of the screen, the audio is behind where it should be. I used this controller with my last laptop running Vista 32bit with VDJ 5.0.1 and never had any issues. I downloaded the newest driver off of DenonDj's website, ASIO ver2.10. Then I tried doing some troubleshooting, I ran VDJ with the laptops built in soundcard and even after 3 hours there was still no delay. I uninstalled the ASIO 2.10 driver and downloaded and installed ASIO 1.005 which was linked to in a different thread. After changing the drivers I still get the delay after the program has been running for awhile. If I close the program and immediately reopen it the delay is gone and it responds instantly, but the longer the program is open the worse it gets. I emailed VDJ support but never got a response. I'm running out of ideas, so if anyone has an idea for me I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Thanks

Have you checked to see which firmware the HC4500 has loaded?
SYS1006 is the latest and addresses an issue with the midi clock which can cause the problems you are describing.

I am having the same problem. After the 1st hour of use the top 5 hot cue buttons don't work on time. It plays a second before the cue selected on time line. What can cause this? If anyone knows please answer. Also I have all my songs in my internal drive on the laptop, is this bad?

As above, please check you have the latest firmware and drivers installed.
An out-of-date version of VirtualDJ could also cause issues - Please register your serial number http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest v7.0.2 Pro: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
Also, make sure that you have smart play turned off (The padlock above the PLAY button on the default skin - Make sure that it is not lit orange.)
