I was having mapping issues with my imac and my denon mixer so I called the Denon tech support and spent one hour helping me configure my mac and VDJ software. After all the "tech support" I still had software issues (VDJ was not producing sound in midi mode) and was told by Denon tech support to contact VDJ tech support. So I have sent in two tickets telling them my issues. I will let you know how that goes. But until then can anyone offer any suggestions? I have configured my audio midi settings, and have set up my configurations on VDJ, and have even figured out the specific ports that all the machines to to be plugged in to. after all this I am still not getting any signal to the mixer via the VDJ software. Help is appreciated.

I didn't know the DN X1700, but let me see your setting inside VDJ (Soundcard/Performance).
Do you use 7.0.2 and Snow Leopard (10.6) as your OS?

1) Have you set your mixer to MAC-mode from the PC/MAC selection in the utility menu?
2) Is your mixer in USB-B mode?
3) Are you able to get any audio out of your mixer using any application (e.g. iTunes)?
