Gang -
For the original, it was simple. Track got played and got logged. Simple.
Now for multi decks, does this behavior occur across all beyond the 1st two?
If so, what is the time limit before it gets logged?
Reason is I might drop the sampler and preview and leave that to decks 3 and 4.
But if they get logged, then that would taint my history playlist.
Thanks!

Logging is done on all active decks. You can change the time the track gets logged at with the VDJ registry tool.

Just change the "HistoryTimer" setting in seconds, I have my one set at a minute and a half

Very cool. Too bad there is not an option to check (allow logging y/n) on relevant deck.
But that might be good enough to allow the occasional 1 min track and of course, loop/sample/preview to not get logged.
Thanks!

Problem is that VDJ theoretically now supports up to 99 decks although I guess most skins will never have more than 6. Available RAM is also a limit to how many tracks can be loaded at any time.
