Try adjusting the buffer to a lower value via the ASIO control panel (CONFIG -> Sound Setup -> ASIO Config) Restart the software for the new setting to take effect.

If you get problems with stuttering, drop-outs, etc. when you choose a lower latency, please see http://www.virtualdj.com/homepage/jpboggis/blogs/4094/Common_performance_issues_and_solutions.html

NOTE: VIrtualDJ Console Edition does not support time code use except during the 20 day Pro trial. Your Steel DJ Console entitles you to a significant discount off upgrading to VirtualDJ Professional. To receive this, please go to http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

.to play without a drop with this audio 8 dj have to go for 512(11).and yesterday i played with only with hercules and use audio 8 to just for outputs but sound dropped time to time.but never happend with maya44 usb.

just for share thsi.i had omni controller before.thats the perfect thing i had really wanna say.super signal spped and powerful sound card with never sound drops with 256(5) latency.

anyways ill try the hints u have given sir,but most of them are already done.

thanks for the support sir....

I moved to the Audio4DJ from a maya44usb so I could run Technics (phono signal is way to weak for the maya) and am doing fine on my unibody Mac. I would check a few things:

1. make sure you have a good needle, like an ortofon Nighblub or something with at least 6mV.
2. make sure you have a common ground on all equipment, including the mixer.
3. make sure you are choosing the right type of vinyl in the sound setup.
4. Lastly, make sure you don't have warped vinyl.

I've been using my Audio4DJ for a year with both Technics 1200's and Numark CDX's(which are digital) and have had no issue with my soundcard.

On a final note, you will need 4GB of RAM, I don't think there is anyway around it, and at least a duo core 2 GHz proc or 2.66 Ghz centrino or better...
