Hello all
I recently got my backup laptop running once more, its and old dell inspiron 6400, intel core t5300@1.73 ghz, 2 gb of ram with xp professional (sp3)
Now on some past history with this machine...this was my only laptop to run ns7 (with itch) and no issues, it wouldnt run with vdj as it made this cracklin noise everytime i used any action, so i used itch with it, but when i did use vdj i used herc rmx and it worked fine...an issue struck with it and i had to reformat and reinstall.
Now this cracklin noise i keep getting even with my rmx!, ns7 with itch works fine but i havent even tried with the ns7.
Thought it may have been faulty driver or somethin so reinstalled and nothing it still does some cracklin noise, i tried using the cdj 900s as with my other computer seemed fine, but no i get the same cracklin noise with this as well, so it cant be the rmx then...right?
any suggestions?, lately ive been out of luck with my laptops, my main one is starting to become too faulty and this backup is just old enough i waiting for it to die...you could say buy a new laptop but that shouldnt be the solving thing to do, just as i dont have money to buy a new one...please any suggestions are welcome

Crackling, stuttering and other audio glitches are usually caused by performance issues with your computer and/or incorrect configuration in VirtualDJ.
For a list of common causes and their solutions, please see:

1.73Ghz is also (Just) below the minimum requirements for the NS7 ( http://www.numark.com/ns7 ) - Preferably your computer should exceed these for best results.
