With the exception of the first one - some nice looking products.

Gemini looks like they are moving into the more serious DJ market.
 
man thats perfect. thanks for bringing it up. i havent heard of any other news anywhere about this.... did you mean the cdmp-7000? its the 2nd piece of gear he is showing.

i gotta say they look exactly like the pioneer CDJ's lol. Anyhow I don't care.... they have implemented this very well as an all in one solution! I think this will be my next buy unless I hear very bad things
 
I havent been a fan of gemini equipment but man I think this has been overlooked by so many people at the Namm show. Colour Touch Screen display with SD, USB, CD & Midi for $999. Wtf that shit is crazy cheap.

Can't wait till more info comes out!
 
That's exactly what I was thinkin!! Its like Numark said here take the mixdeck from us and make it better..............well by the looks of it Gemini may have just done that! These other companies should really take note...........

and yes i think its a lot better than pioneer's (s1 & t1)

Dude my wallet doesnt like pioneer.

This piece of kit is basically 2 cdj-2000's put together plus a 3 channel midi mixer. Thats over $5k of value.

What's wrong with the pioneer version? They had to make a cheaper version to try and compete and they missed the mark on few things. No backup option like usb, cd or sd cards. No LED display. Onboard effects. Touch screen. Not even close....

Plus I find pioneer not very innovative. They came out with a solid CDJ many years ago and havent bothered to really to move away from it. Denon is my favorite manufacture for this simple reason.

Were all pro's we need more than the limited spec Pioneer offer on all their products
 
The Pioneer midi controller isn't even a mixer combo, that's the biggest feature missing.

Guess you have to know your gear to know what's what, must be terrible not to know how to use this gear!

I can relate, I bought a digital SLR a few years back and never understood it and was the noob on their forum.

I couldn't have said it better myself....Pioneer need to start rethinking it's business plan....at least the DJ division.

I'm not anti Pioneer, I currently own a few Pioneer products myself, it just seems like they have been lagging it with the features on their new products. They charge the most and yet they give us the least features, that's why I love Denon's gear.

The new Gemini gear seems pretty cool, hopefully the don't mess it up and give us cheap quality build. I'm willing to give their new gear a try, seems like they have implemented some pretty cool features.

Sure is! I didn't expect all that from a budget DJ company like Gemini. Pioneer messed up by not giving us a hybrid analog digital mixer on it's new controllers. For the price they are going to be charging they should have also added the jogs off a CDJ-2000.

They could have done a lot better I think!
 
glad to see gemini coming back strong... at some point (in the real far past) gemini was in the top dj companies much like when Denon was the top of the line company follow by numark and gem... but ocne pioneers cdjs came along BOOOM everyone got knocked down
