Hi mate
If you are getting a signal indication on the front panel but no sound: Check speakers and speaker cables. Make shure the amp has not been switched into bridge mode. Not shure which Studiomaster amp you have (post the model please) The 1200D for example has a pair of led's on the front (One for each Channel) which show when the amps circuit protection is operating. This can indicate anything from a short circuir speaker lead to a fault in the amp. In normal operation these leds will come on when you first switch on and go out (Acompanied by a click from the internal protection relays) to show that the amp is ok.
If there is no signal indication on the front panel try pluging the output from your mixer or soundcard into another amp (even your hifi will do) If you get sound then the amp may well need repairing.
