I installed and gave VDJ 7.0.2 a run for its money Saturday night and only had 1 problem with it...it lost connection to the controller (Denon HD2500) after about 1hr 45 minutes. I was hesitant to have it rescan while playing so I mixed into a DVD, took the controller out of Midi mode, reapplied midi mode, then had VDJ rescan for controllers and it found it thus re-establishing connectivity without crashing VDJ. When I did the same procedure before with pre 7 VDJ would crash.
I was not using the DN HD2500 as a soundcard, just as a controller.
I do not consider this to be a "MAJOR" issue because I always have a backup cd/dvd video ready to go just in case.
Besides this one hiccup, which might be an isolated event, VDJ 7.0.2 is rock solid!!!

Do you have the latest firmware installed from http://www.denondj.com ?

Probably not...the unit isn't mine. I will check on it and have the latest firmware with me along with the instructions to perform the update if it is lacking. Is the latest version 7/11/2008 ??? That's the date of the HD2500.bin file.

The most recent is published on Denon's site: http://www.denondj.com/firmware.aspx?ProductId=80
However, the version above may actually be newer than this!
