Tópico: Quick question...

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Ok, I'm not gonna have access to my gear for a couple days, but I wanted to record a short mix, which leads me to this question: I am using VDJ 7 with a numark mixdeck on a MacBook Pro. Since the Numark doesn't control the fader (in VDJ), I'm assuming using the record feature through VDJ is out of the question. I have ProTools on the same laptop, so should I just have my Mixdeck OUTS go to the Protools INPUT, and just monitor through Protools? Or is there and easier way that I'm just not seeing?

And info is greatly appreciated.

I don't own a MAC but all you have to do is run a line from your booth out to your MIC input. Then go into advanced config and setup your decks accordingly after that pick the "Record Loopback" option and then pick your MIC input and you should be good to go...........or yeah you could do it the ProTools way also, lol. The manual can explain in better detail............

Hope This Helps

why do that?? just dont select the split tracks on crossfade option in the record config. vdj will split the tracks itself anyway. or you can just record the full session in one block.
