Tópico: Please suggest which midi controller?

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Guys i plan to buy a midi controller but confused. for sometime i had been thinking to get the mistrack pro but its kinda not very professional looks wise, could someone suggest which midi controller would be the best choice and would work good with Virtual Dj Pro?

One more question, with mixtrack pro we get VDJ Le, supposing if i purchase the VDJ pro here. would it still work with the mixtrack pro?

thanks.

yes the mixtrack will still work with vdj pro, though i would suggest buying the controller first. that way you will be eligable for a discount on your vdj pro.

I agree with Blu here definately get the controller first, you don't want to incur costs that you could avoid.

There are masses of new units out now and coming out in the near future... So I'd be inclined to take a look at what's out there. Here's a good place to start: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/hardware.html

Good luck!

I started out with an RMX. It's got a lot of capabilities and the only part that 'looks unprofessional' is the size and the jog wheels.(just upgraded to the vms4 so that's taken care of) Definitely get something with a built in soundcard, it's worth the money.

4MX and VSM4 looks nice but thy are soo very expensive and out of my budget :-( but anyways does vsm4 works good with vdj?

You have to decide what you want for starters based on your budget and how the controller feels to you. If you have a small budget, you won't get a top quality and professional looking controller, you'll get an entry level/budget controller. And if you're just getting into DJing, it's a good place to start until you are positive that it's right for you. Djing is not a cheap endeavor and it's senseless to sink a pile of money into it to find out that it's just not for you.

Test out some controllers to see how they feel and see what you like. Then formulate quality vs. budget after you know what you're looking for.

Best of luck.

You can't go wrong with the MixTrack Pro, it's a great controller.
