I'm not sure. I run VDJ with the mixdeck and can toggle in and out of scratch mode with the dedicated button on the Mixdeck. The scratching kind of sucks with the mixdeck, but I think messing around with the jogwheel sensitivity could help. Which skin are you using? I had some trouble when I switched to snother skin...but I don't remember which one. Try it with the standard VDJ skin and see if that help.

Great video review in the Mixdeck.I also have this unit and I overheard you describe that you were able to bypass the Mixdeck sound card???
I have a Virtualvinal sound card that I would like to use instead.Would you mind explaing how it can be bypassed and utilizing another card?

@Lineman, Thanks ill have a post a video tonight on how to do it. Pretty much all you have to do is, plug in the sound card of your choice. Select it in the sound setup. Then run your rca's from the soundcards out to the MixDecks Aux in. On the mixer just move the selector to Aux and put the MixDeck in MIDI mode and your good to go. I do it this way cause like I said the MixDeck soundcard is just to quite for me. That Numark card should sound pretty good.

Thanks Huey, I never liked it to much either..getting a slight hiss from it.I eliminated the pc,and tried 2 different sets of powered speakers and also all ground,and different power plugs...came to the conclusion its the sound card.I welcome the video bro.. but your explaination might suffice as well!
well here goes...

ok heres a question..if its in aux mode can the cd and usb still function this way? and how about the headphones?
 
Yeah everything will still work but you have to move the selector on the mixer then switch it from MIDI mode to cd or usb which ever your gonna use. I'll show you that in the video aswell ;-)

Ok I connected everything and it all worked fine..except I still get that hiss when I up the master volume just past 50% on the mixdeck.
using either sound card. I was hoping the virtualvinal sound card would eliminate that.It must be the mixer.
 
I love my mixdeck too a have the rmx aswell as the vms but for overall usage Mixdeck for sure.
 
Ok here's an update on my MixDeck, some big changes that I'm sure will help other.............

P.S. It will also work with the MixTrack, I tried it after I stopped recording. So rip it up fellas & ladies......
