Basically, I'm using the Mixdeck with Virtual DJ and when I play two songs at once AND I have the crossfader all the way to the left (So only Deck A should be the only tihng playing) yet, BOTH tracks are being heard of my speaker system. Any help?
Sidenote: I just bought this MIDI today and it came with VDJ. I'm not a huge fan of the skin it came with. When I went to downlaod some new ones. It wouldn't let me for some different reason. Any idea how I can get a few skins onto my program?

Thanks for all the help bys. I'm gonna try messing around with the responses when I get home later tonight. For now I just have it hooked up t Traktor. I've been wanting to learn the in's and out's of this program, although I still wanna get my VDJ back on the go for the sake of comfort levels.
Thanks again guys.

If it came with VirtualDJ LE, then please register your LE serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download and install the latest VirtualDJ LE v7.0.2 from the Download Center: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
If it dd not come with VirtualDJ LE, then you will need to purchase the latest VirtualDJ Pro from http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
You can it try out first for 10 minutes at a time by downloading VirtualDJ Home FREE: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html (After 10 minutes it will reset to limited mouse and keyboard control only until you restart the software.)

The mixer section of the MixDeck is a real hardware audio mixer and is not MIDI capable. It cannot control the on-screen software mixer (Volume sliders, EQ's, gain, etc.) or the video crossfader in VirtualDJ. Only the CD players are MIDI enabled.
If your MixDeck came with VirtualDJ LE, then please register your serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and download the latest VirtualDJ LE v7: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
Also, make sure that you have the latest drivers and firmware installed from: http://www.numark.com/mixdeck
VirtualDJ LE v7 will allow you to configure VirtualDJ for external mixer use, allowing the audio mixer of the MixDeck to work correctly (NOTE: The controls on-screen will not move - It is not a MIDI mixer and as above it cannot control the software mixer in VirtualDJ in anyway.)
Go to CONFIG -> Sound Setup and set your sound as follows:
Inputs: None
Outputs: External Mixer
Sound card: ASIO -> Numark
Click APPLY.
If you wish to be able to video crossfade, then In VirtualDJ Pro, you could map a knob or button on one of the CD players that you don't use to perform video crossfading.
Map a knob to the action: video_crossfader
Or map a button to the action: video_transition (This will perform an automatic transition to that deck when the button is pressed.)
If your MixDeck came with VirtualDJ LE, you can upgrade to VirtualDJ Pro at a discount by going to http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html and entering your VirtualDJ LE serial number in the box provided.
