I'm new at DJing in general....let alone virtual DJ. But I have tried the beatlock and when I do it one of my songs either seems too fast or too slow. How should I find an easy way for me to beatmix songs using manual or beatlock? Also...when using beatlock do you put it on one deck or 2?

u shud trry and beatlock tracks with similar bpm, so it's generally not too wise to beatlock a track with 140bpm with one of about 100, cos it'd sound messed up.
right click (or default keyboard shortcut "b") on deck 2 should set it for you

You don't need to put beatlock on both channels. When you put the beatlock on one channel then you can increase or decrease the spead on the other channel and it will do the same on the beatlocked channel.
