Hello All! I am trialing the home version but plan to move pro. I would like to know if u can store the database on an external hard drive? My thought to store it there is because i store my music on an external hard drive and have multiple laptops i would like to use vdj with. I would like to have my folders and groups etc available and set up to liking no matter which laptop I am using. Can this be done. Thanks in advance for the help

Pretty much any harddrive weather it be internal or external and you pull music off it to be used with VDJ will have its own database on that drive. So yeah if you move your external drive to another laptop running VDJ all your info will show up.

Thanks for the fast response. I would also like to know if I can store all of the folders found in "My Documents" on that same hard drive. For example: plugins, sampler, tracklisting. etc? Thanks again for the fast response.
 
Yeah you can store them there (which is a good way to backup your files in case something happened to your laptop) but you would then have to move them back to the corresponding folder on the new lappy.
