Hey guys. Been looking around the forums trying to find an answer but with little success. I'm running my vms4 with vdj pro and while I'm in the middle of a song the vms4 will lose it's connection with my pc somehow. The cable does not move or come loose whatsoever and I have to power cycle the unit to get control back. I am not sure of any specific reason as to why it would do this but i did notice that it happened once when I pressed the effect button on the unit. I just want to know if it's a pc based problem or the unit itself.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Never heard of such an issue. Whats your OS ? Can you reproduce it? I mean every time you press that button it freezes? Does this happen when you trigger a specific effect? It seems more like a faulty unit to me.

With more testing it does appear to be a faulty unit. I don't know if it's a specific effect but I did notice that the unit shuts off when occasionally when I use the effect or sample knobs on the right deck.
