ok so i know there is probably loads of threads about this but none match my needs.
I have some money left over from my birthday (£84) and i wanna get a little controller just for my bedroom and private events.
i have narrowed it down to two; the Hercules mp3 e2 and the Hercules mk4
so in other words shall i save up for the mk4 or get the mp3 e2 and just buy an external soundcard, cause it seems the mk4 is just a e2 with a soundcard and inputs i dont need.
please let me know ASAP :):):):)::::::::::::)_

"cheap usb soundcard"- only important word there is the "cheap" bit! It'll be rubbish for using DJ headphones with because it won't be that loud :( or very good quality.
Perhaps that might be a good temporary solution whilst you save up for a better sound card.
Hope that helps.

Also, you might want to think about the e2, it's good, but very small. Check out this video

And for £129 you could get the numark mixtrack which has touch sensitive jog wheels and it's bigger and so much easier to use. Check out this video

If you could save up £129 for that and your really cheap usb sound card, and then later you could save up for a good dj sound.

I have been using the MP3e2 for a while now. It's a great little controller and has done it's job well, never had a issue with it at all. I use it with the NI Audio 2 DJ sound card. Great for beginning DJs or Experianced DJs switching over to PC DJing.
