i'm gonna get a LPD8 so i'm asking LPD8 users what drum sounds they are using?

Well I don't have that unit but I have a Korg Nanopad, pretty close to the same thing. As far as sounds go I have stripped my program Reason of most of it drum kits. Alot of work but worth the effort. Another I have done is setup sample banks with the Sample Manager. So at the push of a button or a few mouse clicks I can have rock kit, hip-hop kit etc etc.

i haven't tried the sample mgr yet.....

i usually use Jingle Palette


i downloaded some free legal samples from Akai

i was curious about the NI products , fruity loops , etc
