In previous versions of Virtual DJ, I was able to set the configuration for the recorder to record from the internal computer microphone. By doing so, I was able to play a YouTube music video and record the music as an .mp3 file. I can not longer do this with VDJ 7. Am I missing something or is this not possible anymore (Why?). If it is possible, please give me detailed instructions as to how to make this happen.
I have tried to call Virtual DJ Tech Support and they never answer the phone, they never return phone calls, the never return emails, the Llive Chat never works. Are they still working, do they still support thier product. You can even call Atomix and their phone system will talk to you and then hang-up. Today, I got put on hold for Virtual DJ 3 times at about 15 min each and it says "your call is important and we will be right with you", after 15 min a message comes on and says our servers are down and you will need to leave a message. Then on the fourth try, the message says "we have gone to lunch and will be back at 1:00 pm eastern". Then the message goes straight to "Our servers are down leave a message".
Not a very professional way of supporting their product.
Please if anyone can help me solve the above described issue I would appreciate it. I am hoping that they have not elimated that feature with the newer version. I then would like to have an older version back on my lap top.
