Hello All,

I installed the latest version of VDJ and it seems that once i open the program the CPU is pegged? Has anyone else had this issue? If anyone has any ideas why this is happening i would appreciate it or if there are any tips on getting the usage down.

Turn off all your back ground programs and try restarting the software. What is your computer and the specs as well?

Also check the skin you are using isn't maximized. Some skins eat CPU when theye are sized to full page.

thanks for the replies guys here are my system specs

Core Duo T7300 2.00 GHz
4 gig ram
windows 7 32bit
 
The other thing to check is with different hardware plugged in as well. Verify that your CPU meter is peaking then unplug your controller why VDJ is running and see if that makes a difference. Same with the audio card. Eliminate any possible causes until you pin-point the root.

As Keith mentioned, make sure your skin is not maximized and it's the proper resolution for your screen. Your computer specs are good, so try those first.
