why doesnt my controller work with virtual dj pro 7

LOL! I have no idea mate! Perhaps you can tell me why one of my socks always goes missing when I use the tumble dryer?

I suspect there is far more detail that you could provide in order for us to help you. Please list what you have and what you are doing with it. "Why won't it work" is just not enough to go on. There are some very clever people here but none of us are mind readers (At least I don't think so ;-)). Give us the info and we will try to help you!

This may be because you are not running the latest version of the software.

Please upgrade to the latest VirtualDJ v7.0.3 Pro: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

Or if you have the VirtualDJ edition of the Typhoon, use the free VirtualDJ LE that comes with it.
 
i have the latest version..... Im connect everything proper and it works for 5 minutes then the sound start to sound nasty as disurb. im using it on a windows XP-

You might find that other programs or software drivers are using too mutch of your computers power/resorces. Try making shur that you have closed down all non essential software before running vdj. Wireless internet cards seem to be especialy bad for doing this. Use the task manager to view and shut down any proccesses that are not required for VDJ.

There are some good guides as to how to set up your computer for the best performance when using VDJ. Check out the Wiki and operating manual by ckicking on the tab in the Community Menu.

thanks for the help. shuld i stay with the typhoon or get me a newer controller
 
Hi mate

Stick with what you have and take the time to make it work. If nothing else it will give you some good experience and an insight into what makes VDJ tick. If the problems you are having are down to your computers set up, a change of controller my not help you. It might just give you a whole heap of other problems.

BTW did you know that you can register the LE version of VDJ that you got with your Vestax. This will help you get the latest updates as soon as they are available.

And which version number is that? (Go to CONFIG -> Info and it will tell you.)

You may have perfromance issues with your computer - Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/homepage/jpboggis/blogs/4094/Common_performance_issues_and_solutions.html for a list of common problems and their solutions.

Also, make sure that you have the latest drivers for the Typhoon installed from the manufacturer's website

NOTE: We would recommend that you register your VirtualDJ Pro on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html so that you can download the latest and future versions as well as free add-ons from http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/index.html - You will also be able to easily retrieve your software and/or serial number in future should you loose it.
