I'm using the Hercules RMX along with timecode vinyl, and every so often, the audio freezes until I hit the apply button to reset the sound card. When I use the hercules alone, no problems. Its just with the timecode. Very embarrasing when 200 people are dancing. Any idea what gives?

Well, hopefully I get a response by tommorow. I'll just go without my 1200's tonight.

^ the apply button?

Correct. When it freezes, I go to options>sound set up>click apply, then the time code is picked again by the software and the music starts.

do u have the latest drivers?

Yes, I do have all the latest drivers for the Hercules RMX. What points me in the direction of a Virtual DJ problem is that is that it runs flawlessly when just the Hercules is plugged in. Brand new needles and cartridges, brand new serato version 2 vinyl, 100% timecode signal, near perfect circle in the timecode window. Works like a champion, smooth, scratching, mixing, 30-40 minutes pass BAM!!! Music stops, as if the USB cord is pulled out, but I don't think that is the issue since it works fine without timecode. Please note, I am playing vidoes. The laptop is more than capable of playing them. The videos and files are loading through a USB 3.0 connection, the hercules is in a seperate USB port.

Do you have any idea at all what can cause it? Windows 7 issue? Connection? Firewall? Graphics Card? Memory? Maybe Latency set too low (currently at 6ms)? I just need some guidence... I'm not sure.

usually latency is the cause
