Following on from my thread regarding new kit, I thought a thread were people can voice their gripes, opinions, thoughts, ideas regarding DJ kit that they have or have had, or even maybe wanting to get, might be worth creating.
As Atomix work closely with hardware manufacturers, this thread, if used for the purpose it was intended, may well help guide some future choices when designing equipment...who knows...
Please don't post "my XXXXX isn't working..." that is for the Hardware Issues forum!
Think about what experience you've had with kit, and post how you feel it could or could have been improved and your reasons.
Also, why not post about new, upcoming equipment and your thoughts on it.

I'll start with a positive...I am personally looking forward to the release of the iDJ Live from Numark that allows control over iPad DJ software. Now I'm not saying that I would use it at one of club gigs, but I love the direction the use if iDevices is going.

Thought there would be participation, lol, anyways being a novice when it comes to controllers the only gripes I have about mine are. The mixer should atleast have a MIDI crossfader like my Ecler and the scratchin while in MIDI mode should be a lot better. I suppose that comes down to the manufactures. Oh yeah I'm talkin about my Numark mixdeck. I don't mind that the gain, highs, mids & bass aren't MIDI cause there to touchy in the program anyways. I just really wish that crossfader was cause it makes mixing video easy. I have a work around but now I'm back to 2 different crossfaders.
So other then that I'm happy with and its been a great unit.
All in one units should atleast have a crossfader that's MIDI capable
