Is there anyway to isolate the vocal??/.........Messing with the EQ doesnt help very much at all......any thought are much appreciated.....

unless you have the instrumental and the normal track you can't extract the vocal by messing with the eq's... check out www.acapellas4u.co.uk easily the best resource on the internet for acapellas

This question keeps popping up ever so often, and the answer is always the same: it's not possible, not properly anyway. Instead, try to find an accapella version of the track.

Being an recording engineer by profession, I can tell you that this is not possible. All any software can do is cut eq's and that doesn't properly "isolate or remove" anything because you will still be able to hear it.
