Hi All,
Just wondering of anyone knew if software like this exised. I DJ on an internet radio station and the handovers can either go very well or very bad...
I am looking for software which will work as follows:
1. It will maintain the connection and stream to the SHOUTcast server
2. It will allow 2 or more incoming streams or
3. It will, when scheduled, attempt to connect to a broadcasting stream and for a designated time
4. It will only connect to the SHOUTcast server when one of the above is true
5. It will, support emergency backup broadcasts should silence of more than n seconds occur in a given time period
6. Have a web front end that a "station manager" can monitor and/or make changes to the incoming streams
The idea here is that the rotating DJ's never directly connect to the server. This "proxy" will maintain the link and also allow the DJ's to overlap.
Is there anything close to this on the market?
