We are trying to set up our Numark Mixdeck and every time we power it up, it automatically goes to "Power on Demo". We have to manually change the parameter to USB-MIDI. After we change it to USB-MIDI we press the parameter knob to confirm our selection but it always seems to go back to power on demo. Any suggestions?

That sounds like a faulty unit I'd call Numark cause VDJ has nothing to do with that part of it.

I do have another question, do you know how to change the Power On Demo from "on" to "off" under the parameter options? Not sure what button to push to do this. We had issues with our NS7 so we bought the Mixdeck, because we have a wedding to D this weekend. We are new to this machine and we don't want to screw to much up, so we can make it through Saturday.

I just leave CDs in and ever time it starts up it'll read the disc. I leave CDs because they have my scratch samples on them and scratchin in midi mode isn't the best.
