Tópico: VDJ7 i3 Processor and the SL-1... ADVICE NEEDED!!!

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I have downloaded the newest edition of scratch live on my i3 win 7 OS and still I have problems in scratch live... When the needle isn't touching the time codes the track is consantly "rewinding" itself, also when I play some places I use VDJ7 and that doesn't read the sl-1 at all. These problems are only occuring on my i3 processor, I use 2 othe computers that everything works just fine on. I'm dumbfounded by this because you would think by now, it would be a fixed issue! Hopefully some one can find a solution to this soon. I'm returning my new computer tomorrow and hopefully the newer ones processor will work with everything just fine. It's just a damn shame that I have to return such a great computer in every other aspect!

sounds like a SL problem..............

ok... new theory... 64 bit compatibility lacking when it comes to using the sl-1 as a sound card in vdj7 with time codes??? I went to bestbuy today and actually tried out various computers with different processors and the problem still existed. The same version of vdj7 on my sony viso with xp 2002 service pack 3...pretty sure its 32 bit if not smaller... Everything works perfectly! Scratch live now works perfectly on my new computer after a device driver update. -VDJ7-The main problem is it's not reading the timecodes. on internal mode it works fine with the sl-1 as a sound card. On the sony, the sl-1 is in the drop down menu, on the new computer with i processor i have to choose asio then choose sl-1 on the sub menu. when i press ASIO config buttton the damn program crashes!! It's the same on the pentium and AMD processors BUT the program doesn't crash when i go in to ASIO config... So many problems and no solutions... I'm about to reinstall VDJ7 on the i3 comp, and do an auto-config on the timecodes to see if that helps matters...here goes nothing.

Her's the link on the auto-config is you are curious

yeah i did see that but i figured what the hell, it's worth a shot

I'm still not having any luck, the settings on that link for auto cnfig for the timecodes either don't exist or i'm f'n dumb and don't understand what I'm reading.

I'm about to downgrade to vdj6 and see if that clears up some things, if not i don't know what to do. I'll just get a Mac if none f these new win os' and processors work for me. Then I'll be looking to use vdj with the older computers till mac figures out how to let vdj read more than 250 songs in it's search db from a hard drive... ANOTHER ISSUE!!
